3D Printable Travel / EDC Items

My 3D printable designs for for a minimal duck tape roll, utility cord reel, and AirTag holder.

The goal of these is to be compact as possible, so they can be added to a carry on bag, backpack, etc., without adding much volume or weight. While still providing utility when it’s needed.

1. Cordage Reel

I use this to cary a few dozen feet of utility cord, for whatever might arise. I picked up this cord at a random Army-Navy store, but it’s available on Amazon all the same.

There’s three holes in the reel so you can thread / wrap the cord around to secure it.

2. Airtag Holder

I previously posted my airtag keychain, this is a version with four screws so it acts more as an enclosure, and you can throw it into a backpack/bag for a little extra durability (no risk of the battery compartment opening!) cord reel picture

3. Duck Tape Roll

The simplest of all these prints, is just a rectangle, about 2mm thick. You probably can also just cut a piece of plastic instead of print this. However, it enables you to wrap a dozen or so feet of duck tape around the plastic core, giving a much flatter and more compact way to carry a few feet of tape.
